Polish Nail Bar is the controller for the processing of personal data via the online store. We attach great importance to careful handling of personal data. Personal data is therefore carefully processed and secured by us. When processing personal data, we adhere to the requirements of privacy legislation. This means, among other things, that:

2. USE OF OUR ONLINE STORE

2.1. PAYMENT, HANDLING AND RETURNING ORDER
When you place an order with us, we use your personal data for payment, handling and any return. We only do this to the extent necessary to fulfill the agreement with you. If necessary in this context, we may also provide your personal data to third parties. You can read more about this later in this privacy statement.
2.2. PERSONAL ACCOUNT
You can create a personal account via our website. We use your name, email address and a password of your choice for this purpose. This account makes shopping easier and faster and allows you to save a wish list. You can also find your orders here.
2.3. Polish Amsterdam Club
When you create a personal account, you automatically become a member of the Polish Amsterdam Club. This is the loyalty program with which you can earn a discount on your order or save for gifts. You can earn points in various ways, for example by purchasing something from us online or in the store, by referring a new customer via your personal link ('refer a friend') or by following our social media accounts. We register your points balance and the action with which you earned points. We do this on the basis of Polish Nail Bar’s llegitimate interest, namely being able to offer our loyalty program and interact with our customers. If you do not want to participate in this, you can always easily unsubscribe by contacting our customer service .
2.4. CONTACT FORM AND NEWSLETTER
We offer several ways to contact us. This can be done via a contact form, the chat function, e-mail, WhatsApp or by telephone. You will be asked to enter various information to process your question. You choose which information you provide. The personal data you provide will then be processed to handle your question and/or complaint. We offer a newsletter with which we want to inform interested parties about our products and/or services. After you have given permission, your email address will automatically be added to the list of subscribers. Every newsletter contains a link with which you can unsubscribe.
2.5. PUBLICATIONS
When using our online store, data can be published so that it is visible to everyone on the internet. You choose which information you publish when asking a question or posting a comment on a blog post. It is possible that you can be traced with this, for example if you decide to leave your first and last name. Upon request, we anonymize information that has been published. You always have the opportunity to remain completely anonymous.

Polish Nail Bar is obliged to conclude a processing agreement with these service providers, which stipulates that they only process personal data in accordance with the instructions and under the control of Polish Nail Bar. The necessary technical and organizational measures have been taken to ensure that your data is processed reliably and securely.
In principle, your personal data will not be transferred outside the European Economic Area. However, if this does happen occasionally, Polish Nail Bar will take measures to ensure that the international transfer of personal data complies with applicable law.
4.COOKIES
Cookies are used in our online store. When you visit our online store for the first time, a message will be shown in which we explain why we use cookies. We use cookies that we place ourselves as well as cookies that are placed or read by third parties. Strictly necessary cookies are used on our website that, among other things, ensure that the website works properly. These are always active.
In addition, we use analytical cookies, tracking and targeting cookies. We ask your permission for these cookies.
4.1 WITHDRAW CONSENT
You can withdraw your consent at any time. This can be done by clicking on 'cookie preferences' at the bottom of the website and changing your settings. 4.2 PERSONALIZED ADVERTISEMENTS BASED ON YOUR INTERESTS

We collect various personal data by means of cookies, namely when you buy something from us, create an account, register for the newsletter and/or visit our online store. 5. GOOGLE ANALYTICS
We use Google Analytics to track how visitors use our online store. We have entered into a processing agreement with Google to make agreements about the handling of our data. We have also allowed Google to use the obtained Analytics information for other Google services.
6. SECURITY
We take security measures to limit misuse and unauthorized access to personal data.
7. RETENTION PERIODS
The personal data described above will be kept for as long as necessary to process your orders, including the warranty. The personal data will then be deleted, unless there is a legal obligation that requires longer storage. Consider the tax retention obligation of seven years. If you have registered for the newsletter, we will keep that permission until you unsubscribe.
